These homeowners were struggling to make full use of their outdoor space as the path down to the lake from their home was very steep. They wanted better access to their dock and some more outdoor entertaining areas as well. As well as an outdoor kitchen and sitting area, we were able to create a retaining wall and stone pathway to make their walk down to either the fire pit or the dock easy. The retaining wall makes use of natural stone to match the surrounding lake relaxed lake vibe while the curving shape is both attractive and reduces the incline of the path. Natural stone retaining walls are extremely versatile and are a wonderful option for a more rustic look or can be combined with pavers. Retaining walls don’t have to be boring, they can be beautiful!
